Hartwick Pines

Yesterday we took a trip to Hartwick Pines just north of
Grayling. It is a beautiful woods full of huge old pine trees.
There is a nice trail to walk along and different stops you
can make to look back into history on the life of a lumber-
jack and how much work logging was back then. It is so
beautiful and peaceful--it was a nice way to celebrate Mike's
birthday. We grabbed some buckets of KFC on our way &
enjoyed a nice picnic in the park before our walk.

Mabel where she loves to be the most: Grandpa's shoulders

Madelyn, Audrey and Olivia posing so nice...

My wonderful parents :)

Grandpa and Grandma and the crew...

Maggie and Grams....

This is the last Monarch Pine in the Hartwick
Pines Forest--it is dead and the top has fallen
off but it is still soooo tall...

cute, cute, cute.....

Here is a man dressed up as a lumber-jack--
he gave a little demo. on his harmonica and
mouth harp---the kids thought this was very cool.....

Look at these 4---we are so blessed!!!!!!!!!
