Mike and I and our best friends Mark and Jill took a road trip the other day.
We started out not knowing where we were going, we just got in the car and
started driving North East. We stumbled upon these falls not far from Alpena.
It is amazing here, so beautiful and peaceful. We have plans to go back with
the kids and Mark and Jill's fam and another family for some camping in a
couple weeks. There is a small State Forest campground next to the falls.
you could walk a ways up the falls, they are very shallow
and the water was really warm.
this one cracks me up--not sure what we were
laughing about but i'm glad i snapped a pic lol
