TODAY MARKS ONE YEAR THAT OUR BOY WAS PLACED IN OUR ARMS BY HIS DEAR FOSTER MOMMA. WE LONG TO GO BACK TO GUATEMALA AND ARE REMINISCING TODAY ABOUT OUR TRIP ONE YEAR AGO THIS WEEK. WHAT AN AMAZING ADVENTURE GOD HAS TAKEN US ON THROUGH THE GIFT OF ADOPTION. HERE ARE SOME PICS TO TAKE YOU BACK TO THAT SPECIAL DAY:

Congrats and Happy Gotcha Day, Elijah! You sure have grown...and you are as cute as ever! What a special day to remember and look back on in those beautiful pictures. You are one very loved little boy...even by this "auntie" who has never met you!
It's hard to believe it's been a year already. It seems that he was never NOT a part of our family. Looking back now - God had it all under control and in His hand - how could we ever doubt?! I love you nephew!
